Papillonchalet (Butterfly Cottage) is currently under renovation.

We are English speaking and welcome all visitors to our beautiful homely cottage. The cottage has views of fields and the beautiful French countryside, where you can sit, relax and watch the local farmer's herd of cows (when they venture onto our pastures). Butterflies are the theme of our cottage and many types flutter around. One special butterfly is the Swallow-Tail and this has been seen on many occasions. The cottage is situated at the bottom of our courtyard, on our 8 acres of land. As well as the cottage, we will have a small studio apartment (opposite the cottage), which can be used for home working, so for those busy families or visitors that still need to work, due to commitments, then the facilities will be available.

We are located in the beautiful countryside of the Creuse Department in the heart of Nouvelle-Aquataine Region of France (see map below - zoom in to find us). When the weather is right, we have beautiful clear sky's at night, due to the minimal amount of air pollution. This is fantastic for those star gazers out there.
